1967 was a very good year.
The Beatles released the Magical Mystery Tour. Disney debuted The Jungle Book. Ronald Regan was elected Governor of California. Elvis Presley married Pricilla Ann Wagner. Super bowl #1 was played.
And The White Buffalo Hotel was built.
After 44 years of serving guests visiting Yellowstone National Park, in 2011, the hotel was purchased by the current owners, the Beattie family.
Seven generations of the Beattie family have lived in and loved the American West. From the time that Great Great Great Grandpa first rode his horse from West Yellowstone into the park to see Old Faithful Geyser, the family has been visiting and vacationing in the greater Yellowstone area. Then one day Grandpa Roger decided that the family needed to do more just enjoy this wonderful place, they needed to be part of it. So they acquired the hotel and have worked hard ever since to upgrade and modernize the property while maintaining the classic western look and feel of natural wood, stone and furnishings that exemplify the area. The family is proud to be part of your Yellowstone experience and are committed to providing you large, clean and comfortable rooms at fair and reasonable prices. They invite you to come, enjoy and be part of Yellowstone.
